My family is from Redan. I recently found a 1921 Redan State School football photo that I thought you might be interested in. My father is in the image: middle row, left - Charlie Granland. He was born in 1908 and lived in Bell Street. I don't know any of the others. It was a bit damaged but I did my best to tart it up for you. Hope it helps. Photographer is Hornsby Studio

The season's draw for the Ballarat Football Association's Third Eighteens was published in the Ballarat Star on Wednesday 16 April 1924. The first round was played on the 26 April for five weeks. With rounds two, three and four, the home and away matches went for twenty weeks, ending on the 13 September. To be eligible players had to be 18 years or under. Matches were to be played at 1.30 pm prior to the Association senior matches.

Elizabeth Sarah TOPPER b 1881 Beaufort d/o George TOPPER and Susan (WHITEHAND). Elizabeth Sarah BINNS died 1958 aged 77 Ballarat. (first cousins if their mothers were sisters)
This couple was known as George and Bessie, bur Ballarat New Cemetery Priv C 1 35R1. George, farmer aged 80 of 2 Junction St, Ballarat bur 29 Sep 1961 and Elizabeth Sarah, wife, aged 77 (same address) bur 30 Oct 1858
