Guide to Advertising 'Help Wanted' Articles:
The following requests for help with family history research in the Ballarat and District have been extracted from the "Help Wanted" section of recent issues of the Ballarat and District Genealogical Society's Newsletter - "Ballarat Link" and more recently from email and other written requests.
Members
- These pages are available for members of the Society to advertise any Family History research problems they have for Ballarat and Western Victoria.
Non-Members
- We are also happy to publish Family History research problems from the Ballarat area for researchers who are not members of the Society, who may consider joining the Society in the future.
Formatting Email Requests
- Please email your request in a format similar to those displayed on the "Help Wanted" pages of this site with SURNAME only in CAPITAL / UPPER CASE letters.
- Please do not use any "fancy" formatting in your email, such as BOLD, COLOUR, etc., plain text will be just fine as it saves me time converting it for the web page.
- Messages NOT in the correct format will not be published.
