John WALSH b. 1845, Melbourne, Victoria, son of Charles WALSH and Ann WHITE was married in 1870 to Mary BURNS, b. c1837 Kilkenny, Ireland, daughter of Patrick BURNS and Bridget KYLE / KEYLEY.
Mary BURNS was a sister of Ellen BURNS 1834-1914 who married William James HARVEY and also lived at Digby.
John WALSH and Mary BURNS had the following children:
