Joseph & Elizabeth SMITH and 1 year old Elizabeth SMITH appear to have arrived at Portland, Victoria on the "Emma Eugenia" in July 1852.
They settled in the Hotspur, Digby, Condah area where more children were born.
Joseph SMITH and his wife Elizabeth, both died in Portland and are buried in the South Portland Cemetery.
