George SIMKIN b. 1800 Suffolk, England, son of Thomas SIMKIN and Ruth THATCHER was first married in 1816, Wickhambrook, Suffolk to Mary HONEYBALL b. 1787. Mary SIMKIN died in England in 1838 and George had a second marriage in England in 1849 to Martha "Eliza" STUBBING. George & Eliza SIMKIN and some of their childrem emigrated to Victoria, Australia in 1852 on the "Anne Milne" and 1854 on the "Shand".
