Donald McKENZIE b. 1827 Ardnamurchan, Argyllshire, Scotland, son of Archibald McKENZIE, farmer and Jessie McLACHLAN, married Mary McDONALD, b. 1834, Isle of Mull, Scotland, daughter of Capt. John McDONALD & Mary McINNES in 1859 at "Audley" Station, near Branxholme, Victoria, Australia. Donald and Mary both died at "The Glen" Grassdale, near Merino in 1910 & 1913 respectively.

Obituary.

McKENZIE. On the 12th November at his residence, "The Glen," Grassdale, Donald, the beloved husband of Mary McKENZIE, in his 83rd year. He was buried at Branxholme the next day. He came to Port Phillip in the "White Swan" in 1854, was a seaman and miner, and settled at Grassdale in 1865. Born 1827 in Ardnamurchan, Argyleshire, Scotland, the 4th son of Archibald, he was a brother of the late Captain Alexander, Captain John, and Duncan, New Zealand. He married Mary, 2nd daughter of the late Captain McDonald, of Tobermory. He left a wife and daughters, Mrs John Robson, Aberfeldy, Glenthompson, Mrs M. W. Dwyer, Clifford, Merino, and 3 unmarried. Duncan is the last of 6 brothers.
