Joseph JOYCE was the sister of Ann JOYCE who arrived in Digby in 1853 with her second husband Robert HARRIS and two children.
Joseph JOYCE was a licensee of the WoolPack Inn at Digby. One entry from the Digby Court Registers shows that in September, 1859 Joseph JOYCE applied for and was granted a publican's license for the Wool Pack Inn with surities being Hugh GLANCY of Rifle Ranges and Donald McCALLUM of Digby.
