Peter IVERACH b. 1843, Caithness, Scotland, son of James IVERACH and Jane WATERS, was married in 1868, Dartmoor, Victoria to Jane GREENHAM b. 1849 Collingwood, Victoria, dau of George GREENHAM and Mary WHATMOUGH.

Peter, a blacksmith had arrived in 1864 and became a farmer at Lower Crawford, near Hotspur, Vcitoria. Peter's brother David and sisters Jane and Margaret also emigrated from Scotland to Victoria and other brothers went to South Africa, Canada and New Zealand. Peter, Jane and family left the Hotspur area and settled at Coolamon on the Murrumbidgee River in New South Wales.
