John HAWKINS b. c. 1815 Somersetshire, England, son of John HAWKINS and ____ was married to Frances "Fanny" LAMB b. c.1810. Frances LAMB may have been the daughter of William LAMB and Mary OSBORN from Corton Denham, Somersetshire, England.

It appears the family was in Van Diemen's Land where a daughter was born c.1844 and then another at Portland, Victoria in 1845.

John & Fanny HAWKINS both died at Digby, Victoria, John in 1865 and Frances in 1858 and both are buried in the Digby Cemetery.
