William FLETCHER b. ca 1840 Belfast (Port Fairy), Victoria, son of ___ FLETCHER and ___ married in 1867, ___, Victoria to Esther Ann CLEATOR b. ca 1848 Isle of Man, UK, daughter of William CLEATOR and Ann KARRAN.
William FLETCHER lived at "Mooralla" Cavendidh and Hamilton, Victoria.
Phillip James FLETCHER was one of his sons who served in WW1 and appears to be the P.J. FLETCHER who obtained a Soldier Settlement block on the Glenorchy Estate near Merino, Victoria.
Another son, John Kean Cleator FLETCHER was killed in 1916 at Pozieres, France when serving with the 59th Battalion, 1st AIF.
