Elijah EASTICK b. 1823 Norfolk, England, son of John EASTICK and Anna Maria GRAVES was married at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in 1848 to Frances SEWELLS b. 1823 Norfolk, England, daughter of Aaron SEWELLS and Lorina LARTER. Elijah was born 29/5/1825 and married Frances SEWELLS, daughter of Lorna Larter and Aaron Sewells about 1848. They were assisted immigrants to Australia, they left Gravesend, Kent on the ship Helen, arriving in Portland, Victoria 12 Nov 1852 Also on board was the sister of Frances, Mary Elizabeth Sewells, who married Charles Jacobson in Australia. Their first 2 children were born in Great Yarmouth the next 3 in Portland Victoria, Jemima at Digby, Victoria , and Maria Celina at Merino Victoria.

Elijah's siblings were Mary Ann 1814, Sarah Maria 1816, William 1818, Eliza 1822, Ebineezer 1823 died 1 Oct 1826), Jabez 1827, Thomas 1832 (emigrated to Australia), Jemima 1833, Jane Bishop 1834, Matilda 1836 & Charles Ambrose 1839 (emigrated to Australia).
