Stephen James CUTTING b. 1851, Gumeracha, South Australia, son of Stephen CUTTING and Jane HOLWELL was married in 1875 in Mount Gambier, SA to Frances "Fanny" PULFORD b. c1853, England, daughter of John PULFORD and Sarah WEBSTER.
Frances "Fanny" PULFORD arrived aged 2y, with her parents from Norfolkshire, on the "Duchess of Northumberland" at Port Adelaide in Feb. 1856. By 1864 the family had moved to the South-East around Allendale, Mount Schanck and Port MacDonnell.
Stephen CUTTING and family lived in the Hotspur region of S-W Victoria about 1878-1891 before returning to the Mount Gambier district.
Stephen CUTTING died at Mount Gambier, SA in 1890 and his widow Frances in 1954, both are buried in the Lake Terrace Cemetery at Mount Gambier.
