William WILLIAMSON, b. ~1820, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, son of William WILLIAMSON and Isabelle LESLIE was married in 1852 to Alice Alicia SUTTON, b. 1833 Co Wicklow, Ireland, daughter of Henry SUTTON and Mary HARRIS.

William WILLIAMSON was a convict in Van Diemens Land from 1836 and travelled across to Portland Bay about 1843.

Alice SUTTON's sister, Ellen SUTTON (1840-1917) married William John SMITH and was also at "Muntham" Station in the 1860s.

Most of the children were born at "Muntham" Station or nearby Coleraine in south-west Victoria. The family later moved north to the Horsham & Natimuk area.

Alice WILLIAMSON died in the Horsham area in 1901 and her husband William died at Natimuk in 1902.
