William David THOMAS, b. 1860, Sebastopol, Victoria son of William THOMAS & Catherine HANNAH married in 1882, Victoria to Julia TURNER, b. 1861 Ballarat, Victoria, daughter of Edwin TURNER and Hannah DRAKE.

William David THOMAS was a teacher at Carapook School in 1883-87 and is mentioned as teacher in 'Early Carapook Days' by Jean MURRAY. His first two children were born in the Casterton area in the 1880s.
