Lawrence MOLLOY b. c 1840, Dublin, Ireland, son of Matthew MOLLOW and Ann NOLAN was married in 1861 to Jane PURCHASE, b. c1836, daughter of William PURCHASE and Ann VINCENT.

Lawrence MOLLOY, Farmer of Carapook, 3 school-aged children, living 1 mile NW of Carapook was one of the signatures to the 1875 petition aimed at establishing a new school at Carapook.

Lawrence MOLLOY died at Carapook in 1881 and his wife Jane died in 1882 and they were both buried in the Coleraine Cemetery.
