Christoph LUERS, Farmer of Carapook, 5 school-aged children, living 1 mile ESE of Carapook was one of the signatures to the 1875 petition aimed at establishing a new school at Carapook. Christoph LUERS 1834-1905 was married to Isabella CUSH, ca 1840-1919, daughter of Michael CUSH and Sarah COSTELLA. Isabella was the sister of Mary CUSH who was married to Peter LOUGHRAN.
