John GIBSON, b. ca 1835, a Baker of Penola, South Australia and Carapook was one of the signatures to the 1875 petition aimed at establishing a new school at Carapook. John GIBSON, son of Thomas GIBSON married Joanna Mary ADAMS, dau of John ADAMS at Penola in 1865.
