Donald CAMERON, b. 1823, Perthshire, Scotland, son of John CAMERON and Christine CUMMING was married in 1859 in Ballarat, Victoria to Elizabeth 'Eliza' FLETCHER, b. 1841 Isle of Mull, Scotland daughter of Peter FLETCHER and Margaret GARROW.

The CAMERON family lived on the property 'Dunan' at Henty, south of Carapook and two of their sons are recorded on the Carapook WW1 Honour Roll. John & Eliza CAMERON are both buried in the Merino Cemetery.
