Albert Leonard BENDALL, b. 1898, Sothampton, Hampshire, England, son of Albert BENDALL and Alice ROGERS was married in 1923 in Adelaide, South Australia to Millicent FARRANT, b. 1900, South Australia, daughter of James William FARRANT and Tryntje Gertrude NORMAN.

Albert Leonard BENDALL emigrated from England aged 13 in 1911 and was working as farmhand for John Hamilton STARK at Carapook in 1916 when he enlisted in WW1.

Albert BENDALL later (1918) worked in the Greenwald area near Dartmoor and is listed in the Greenwald WW1 Avenue of Honour. Albert BENDALL is listed on the Carapook WW1 Honour Roll and his main WW1 details were:
